Anywhere...
Connor got an anywhere chair! I had originally planned to get it for him for Christmas but he LOVES to sit in a chair at my parents house and I knew I had to get one for home asap. We got it last night and he's pretty much been it every waking moment since. A few things that I love about it is that he can't get hurt on it, washable cover and he has room to grow into it. It's a bonus that it sort of matches me and Sid's chairs!

Signing in the Rain
We had a brief rain storm today and me being the good mother that I am took Connor out in it. Only problem was that once I brought him back in he had a fit because he wanted to go back outside. So even though it was cold, he's only wearing PJ's and he has a runny nose...I let him go back outside. He loves being out there and really at the end of the day the only thing I care about is that Connor had a good day. Mission Accomplished!
These are all pics from my phone so quality is not the greatest but it's the easiest for capturing those priceless moments!

30 weeks!
Technically I'm 29 weeks, 6 days. But still I can hardly believe I'm here already. Only 9 more weeks to go! Everything is moving along well! I passed my 1 hour glucose test and I also didn't have an iron deficiency! I had my 30 week appointment yesterday and was amazed to hear that I lost a pound...that brings my total weight gain to 9 pounds! If I gain 1 pound a week from this point on that would put me at 18lbs total..but really I don't won't to gain more than 15lbs. I'm still praying that I will magically drop 25lbs after giving birth even if I don't gain that much. Ha! Sid has the room painted with the exception of the edges he has to do again & the floor is in! This week he'll finish up the edges and the trim on the floor. We still have to put the lighting in and finish the closet too...but we are so close. I still have not got a crib. The one I really like is a lot of $$$ so I'm gonna settle for my second choice!
My bump self portrait...I looks HUGE!

Mint Condition wall color...hard to see with no lighting!

Family Time!
Over labor day weekend Sid's brother Charlie, wife Carie and son Blake came up to visit and celebrate Blake's 10th birthday. At first Connor wasn't sure what to think about them but by the end of the night Connor acted as if he knew them his whole life. The rest of the weekend he pretty much couldn't care less if me and Sid were around...he had a new family now! On Saturday we went to Pike Place Market...which looking back maybe was not the best idea on a holiday weekend. It was PACKED but we still got to enjoy two of my favorite things about the market...donuts & caramel apples! :) On the way home we stopped at Family Fun Center...again PACKED! We played a came of miniature golf...where I came in last! I believe there was some cheating going on though! I wanted to ride the go-karts but for some reason nobody would let me! It was a long day and Connor survived with only a 20 min nap in the car...he did go to bed at 6:45pm though.

Donut please!

Yummy!!

Drooling on Uncle Charlie...a new favorite pastime!

Blake & Momma...who got the scare of her life with Blake driving!

Sunday was the main event...Blake's actual birthday and the Mariner game! It was Carie, Blake and Connor's first major league baseball game. The Mariners pulled out a win too! It was also our first time taking the link light rail. I will never ever drive to Safeco or Qwest field again! It was kid's run the bases at Safeco and I imagined there would be a somewhat of a line...I didn't imagine that almost the whole damn stadium would be in line. Blake got to run the bases...sadly I gave up on the line and Connor did not get to. There is always next year!
Blowing out the candles...Sid is helping!

New hat from Uncle Sid, Aunt Bree & Cousin Connor!

Ready for the game!

We did not play the White Sox but Sid still wore his jersey!

Birthday boy & his parents

Connor playing at the Moose Den

Covered in drool, chocolate covered strawberries, pretzel & hot dog...and he ate some crayon!

Blowing out his candle at Rain Forest Cafe

A great birthday for a great boy!

15 months
Connor is 15 months today...how did my baby grow so fast? Today he had his well baby check up and did fantastic! He weighed in at 27lbs 8oz and was 33 1/2 inches long. I believe that puts his height in the 95th percentile and weight in the 85...I can't exactly remember what the Dr. said. I'm amazed everyday by my little man. I know every Mom probably says this but I swear I have the cutest and smartest kid ever! :) His new favorite word is "bite"...although he doesn't really pronounce the T. I only know what he's saying because he says it when we are eating something and comes over with an open mouth. We've also been working on drinking out of a regular cup and eating with silverware. He can definitely get the spoon/fork from plate to mouth but he doesn't always have something on it. Connor can also get his shapes in the shape sorter without me showing him where it goes. The most he's done all by himself so far is three...I couldn't be any prouder of him. Oh and he's opening doors now. We blocked off him going into the laundry room & garage so there is nothing he can get into that will hurt him but still I'm not ready for this phase. Some exciting news to me is that he's finally getting his lateral incisors...all that is left to come in are his canines and second molars. Connor is such a good teether...he barely makes a fuss and has only had a couple of nights were he doesn't sleep well. It's usually at that point that I give him teething tablets or ibuprofen but usually he goes drug free!

Your Pregnancy: Month 7
That was the subject line in my email this AM. Although technically I'm not quite 7 months yet. But still when did we get here? Wasn't it just a few weeks ago I was obsessively buying pregnancy test? I had my 28 week check up, glucose test & and a growth scan today...so a busy morning. The ultrasound showed everything looked great with Sydney...she's measuring right on track and they estimate she's 2lbs 7oz right now. I'll have another growth scan in a month or so. I can't believe I only have 6 more doctor appointments and that in 11 weeks she'll be here! My weight gain to date is 10lbs...I looked and at this point in my pregnancy with Connor I had already gained about 35lbs. Yikes! I really didn't want to gain more than 15 this time around but the chances of that are looking slim...I'll take a 20lb weight gain over nearly 60 any day though.
Sydney was pretty active during my ultrasound today...which is how she is all the time. I swear she's doing ballet, kickboxing and gymnastics in there. Thankfully she doesn't keep me up at night but occasionally I'll wake up on my own and feel her dancing on my bladder. As far as how I'm feeling I'd say some days I don't even feel like I'm pregnant. My biggest complaint would probably be I'm tired but I can't blame that all on being pregnant some of it has to do with chasing Connor around. I've been having some hip and pelvic pain but generally it's not to bad and I have been pretty busy lately in the garden and finishing the TV wall we filed in.
We are moving along on the nursery...Sid hopes to have it painted by this weekend. The flooring should be in tomorrow and I hope the install on that goes smoothly & quickly. I've got the bedding already now I just need to pick out the crib & dresser. Connor's closet is slowly gathering a mass of pink clothing which if he was older I'm sure he wouldn't be to pleased about.
Here's a couple pics and I'm sorry to say but I believe that this child too will have big feet!
