Family Time!

Over labor day weekend Sid's brother Charlie, wife Carie and son Blake came up to visit and celebrate Blake's 10th birthday. At first Connor wasn't sure what to think about them but by the end of the night Connor acted as if he knew them his whole life. The rest of the weekend he pretty much couldn't care less if me and Sid were around...he had a new family now! On Saturday we went to Pike Place Market...which looking back maybe was not the best idea on a holiday weekend. It was PACKED but we still got to enjoy two of my favorite things about the market...donuts & caramel apples! :) On the way home we stopped at Family Fun Center...again PACKED! We played a came of miniature golf...where I came in last! I believe there was some cheating going on though! I wanted to ride the go-karts but for some reason nobody would let me! It was a long day and Connor survived with only a 20 min nap in the car...he did go to bed at 6:45pm though.

Donut please!

Yummy!!

Drooling on Uncle Charlie...a new favorite pastime!

Blake & Momma...who got the scare of her life with Blake driving!

Sunday was the main event...Blake's actual birthday and the Mariner game! It was Carie, Blake and Connor's first major league baseball game. The Mariners pulled out a win too! It was also our first time taking the link light rail. I will never ever drive to Safeco or Qwest field again! It was kid's run the bases at Safeco and I imagined there would be a somewhat of a line...I didn't imagine that almost the whole damn stadium would be in line. Blake got to run the bases...sadly I gave up on the line and Connor did not get to. There is always next year!

Blowing out the candles...Sid is helping!

New hat from Uncle Sid, Aunt Bree & Cousin Connor!

Ready for the game!

We did not play the White Sox but Sid still wore his jersey!

Birthday boy & his parents

Covered in drool, chocolate covered strawberries, pretzel & hot dog...and he ate some crayon!

Blowing out his candle at Rain Forest Cafe

A great birthday for a great boy!
