37 weeks
I'm so ready to have a baby! Seriously...it has been rough lately. Nearly unbearable hip pain & lower back pain. Some days I can barely move. I know it's almost over and I know I'm growing a healthy baby but I'd be happy with her coming any day now! :) I had my 37 week check up and everything looks good. My group b test came back negative and I lost 2lbs. That brings my total weight gain so far to 15 pounds...woohoo! Although with the Halloween candy that I've been eating I wouldn't be surprised if I gained back that 2lbs at my 38 week appointment. We are in the last stages of getting Sydney's room ready and our room finished. Over the next 2 weeks I'll be putting in the car seat and washing clothing and bedding. I have to admit I'm a little nervous how on earth I am going to handle 2 under 2...thankfully I know that my parents will be there to help and I already plan on spending a many days down at their house.

34 weeks
Today I had my 34 week appointment. Only 5 more weeks left! I'm still feeling pretty good these days...just really tired. I do have a few mornings where I feel sick to my stomach but usually goes away with something to eat and it usually needs to be something that is not so good for me. They did another growth scan on Sydney and estimate her to be 5lbs, 2oz. My doctor thinks she'll be about 7 1/2 lbs at birth. Wholly small baby batman! So I guess it's true what they say...Mama's weight gain effects baby's weight. I have gained another 4lbs...ugh! This is what happens when I don't cook and we eat out...OK and the ice cream doesn't help either! :) So my total weight gain is 14lbs. There goes my goal of only gaining 15lbs...damn!

My 1st thought whenever I see these ultrasounds of Sydney's face is that they always look like Connor...who looks like Sid. I wonder if my kids will ever look like me?

Almost there
We...actually I should say Sid is almost done with Sydney's room. My Dad came over and helped Sid change all the outlets, put the light fixture up & put together the crib. My Mom also picked up a white rocking chair that goes perfect in Sydney's room. I seriously don't know what we would do without my parents...they are the best! Sid just has a few more pieces of trim to put up, some staining to do and put in the closet organizer and I'll be free to get in there and put everything away!

We also started another project...I couldn't stand the icky carpet in our room and the boring walls. So since flooring was on sale at Costco we picked some up and I went and picked out some pant. Sid's got 3 of the walls and the walkway to the closet done. Next weekend he hopes to get the wall behind the bed painted and trim and the floor installed. This all depends on if one or both of my brothers are free to come help. I helped as much as I could already but at 33 weeks pregnant I'm not very productive.
Did I mention Sid still has his shed to build? I wonder if we will ever stop having projects and if we do what will we do then?

Anywhere...
Connor got an anywhere chair! I had originally planned to get it for him for Christmas but he LOVES to sit in a chair at my parents house and I knew I had to get one for home asap. We got it last night and he's pretty much been it every waking moment since. A few things that I love about it is that he can't get hurt on it, washable cover and he has room to grow into it. It's a bonus that it sort of matches me and Sid's chairs!

Signing in the Rain
We had a brief rain storm today and me being the good mother that I am took Connor out in it. Only problem was that once I brought him back in he had a fit because he wanted to go back outside. So even though it was cold, he's only wearing PJ's and he has a runny nose...I let him go back outside. He loves being out there and really at the end of the day the only thing I care about is that Connor had a good day. Mission Accomplished!
These are all pics from my phone so quality is not the greatest but it's the easiest for capturing those priceless moments!

30 weeks!
Technically I'm 29 weeks, 6 days. But still I can hardly believe I'm here already. Only 9 more weeks to go! Everything is moving along well! I passed my 1 hour glucose test and I also didn't have an iron deficiency! I had my 30 week appointment yesterday and was amazed to hear that I lost a pound...that brings my total weight gain to 9 pounds! If I gain 1 pound a week from this point on that would put me at 18lbs total..but really I don't won't to gain more than 15lbs. I'm still praying that I will magically drop 25lbs after giving birth even if I don't gain that much. Ha! Sid has the room painted with the exception of the edges he has to do again & the floor is in! This week he'll finish up the edges and the trim on the floor. We still have to put the lighting in and finish the closet too...but we are so close. I still have not got a crib. The one I really like is a lot of $$$ so I'm gonna settle for my second choice!
My bump self portrait...I looks HUGE!

Mint Condition wall color...hard to see with no lighting!

Family Time!
Over labor day weekend Sid's brother Charlie, wife Carie and son Blake came up to visit and celebrate Blake's 10th birthday. At first Connor wasn't sure what to think about them but by the end of the night Connor acted as if he knew them his whole life. The rest of the weekend he pretty much couldn't care less if me and Sid were around...he had a new family now! On Saturday we went to Pike Place Market...which looking back maybe was not the best idea on a holiday weekend. It was PACKED but we still got to enjoy two of my favorite things about the market...donuts & caramel apples! :) On the way home we stopped at Family Fun Center...again PACKED! We played a came of miniature golf...where I came in last! I believe there was some cheating going on though! I wanted to ride the go-karts but for some reason nobody would let me! It was a long day and Connor survived with only a 20 min nap in the car...he did go to bed at 6:45pm though.

Donut please!

Yummy!!

Drooling on Uncle Charlie...a new favorite pastime!

Blake & Momma...who got the scare of her life with Blake driving!

Sunday was the main event...Blake's actual birthday and the Mariner game! It was Carie, Blake and Connor's first major league baseball game. The Mariners pulled out a win too! It was also our first time taking the link light rail. I will never ever drive to Safeco or Qwest field again! It was kid's run the bases at Safeco and I imagined there would be a somewhat of a line...I didn't imagine that almost the whole damn stadium would be in line. Blake got to run the bases...sadly I gave up on the line and Connor did not get to. There is always next year!
Blowing out the candles...Sid is helping!

New hat from Uncle Sid, Aunt Bree & Cousin Connor!

Ready for the game!

We did not play the White Sox but Sid still wore his jersey!

Birthday boy & his parents

Connor playing at the Moose Den

Covered in drool, chocolate covered strawberries, pretzel & hot dog...and he ate some crayon!

Blowing out his candle at Rain Forest Cafe

A great birthday for a great boy!
