Finally!

So today I was feeling better and Connor was in a good mood so I decided to get his 10 month pictures. As you’ll be able to tell Connor is not so much into it…and frankly neither am I. He doesn’t stay still and it’s nearly impossible to get him to smile when I have the camera out. I so badly wanted to catch his squinty squishy face smile he does lately…which also shows off his top teeth. If you would of told me a 10 month old would keep me on my toes I wouldn’t believe you…but Connor really does. He’s into EVERYTHING …he even tried to pull toilet paper out of the toilet yesterday. YUCK! Not a day goes by know where he doesn’t end up with a bump on the head or a squished finger but in true boy fashion he is up and running(crawling, cruising) after a few minutes of loving from Mommy. He really has mastered eating by himself and I rarely spoon feed him anymore. Sometimes I think he can’t or won’t eat what I made for dinner and will give him something else and he almost seems mad or irritated that he’s not eating what we are eating. Connor is quite the talker too. I swear he’s having a conversation with me sometimes…I just can’t wait to be able to know what he’s talking about. He’s just growing up so fast and we are enjoying every minute of it.

Houston, We have injury

Connor busted his lip today…:( It was all MOMS fault too. double sad face. He cried, I cried.  You can see a little dried blood on his nose and forehead. I also took a picture of my shirt where most of the blood got wiped. I know that there will be bigger injuries in the coming years…but this was a big deal to us.  I’m making sure to give him some extra loving today…and he also get a pass on his 10 month pictures. Tomorrow we will do them for sure though!

The power of 10

Connor is 10 months …how did this happen? I’m happy to report that sleeping has returned to it’s regular scheduled program. To bed at 7:30 and wake up between 7 and 8 am.  He does wake up sometimes during the night but is able to go back to sleep on his own.

 

This couldn’t have come at a better time since we are now expecting child number 2. That’s right folks I’m pregnant. 6 weeks and 2 days to be exact!

Who needs sleep?

and a glass of wine? I do!  Connor is cutting some MAJOR teeth and I’m hoping as soon as the last (#4)  one breaks through we will be back to normal. I am on my very LAST ounce of sanity. During the day he does pretty good but bedtime is HELL and this daylight savings crap sucks!

Did I mention we are still sick or maybe it’s sick again…it seems like we all just keep passing it back and forth.

Despite this all he still has time for his new favorite thing…crawling and getting into everything! I’ve got to make some time to get some baby gates. Especially for the kitchen…every where you turn there is a hazard. Hello knife drawer, double oven with it’s perfectly placed handle, cast iron pots. No is definitely the word of the day, week & month around here.

He hit and shook the bag until he got what he wanted!

It’s a good thing I just swept and mopped the floor (w/non toxic cleaner) that morning.

9 and doing fine!

Connor is 9 months old…insert sad face & tears here.  Seriously I almost have a TODDLER. As you saw in the previous video post he is crawling…woo hoo.  He LOVES his stand and play music thingy…crawls across the room for it. He plays forever at it, falls over and gets back up to it. He will walk around it but is still a little unsure of himself but still determined to get to the other side.

We haven’t done his 9month pictures yet because monkey butts is sick..boo :( Snotty nose and wicked cough…when we went to our well baby check up Dr. K looked him over pretty good and decided to prescribe amoxicillin.  I swear after 1 3/4 days he sounds better already.

Connor weighed in at 18 lbs 10.5 oz…that’s only 18th percentile. However his height 30 inches…damn! That is 98th percentile (or was it 95th?) His head was 17inches? Oh geez Mommy can’t remember. So anyway we have one long lean little head baby. lol Dr. K is not worried at all about his weight though. Connor is reaching all milestones just fine and if you ask me is smarter than most babies his age. :) I also happen to think he is the cutest baby EVER!

I will take his 9 month pictures tonight or tomorrow and put them up.

It was NOT easy to get any of these pictures…Connor was crawling all over the place. That means I was always crawling all over the place. I also learned that we really need to clean our floors! :)
