Color vibin!

We did it! I am so not a runner but that is ok. It was pretty disorganized but still a lot of fun!! Hopefully I'll do better next year. I better start training now!

Mothers Day 2013

Today I celebrated my 4th Mother's day. (Well 3 with an outside baby) Of course it didn't go exactly as planned but it was still a great day. (More like weekend since ...I milked it for all I could) Sid and the kids got me a bike. (love it! Wish I could ride it in the color vibe because I'm not excited about running! ) I took it for a 3 mile ride to get coffee ...Im going to attempt go the other direction soon and meet friend for lunch or drinks! Since I got in somewhat of a workout today I didn't feel guilty about going to 5 guys for bugers and fries. Also got to hit up Target. .. who doesn't love a trip there? ! The excitement of the weekend had the kids crazy monsters today. Thankful Sid took care of an early dinner and bedtime for them.

Fire station tour!

We got a chance to tour the local fire station with some friends. All the kids got a chance to spray the house.  It was the highlight of Connor's week!

In the life of the Fontenot kids. These two are really becoming the best of friends. Wonder what it will be like with three.

Walking the trails!

(I forgot to publish this post 9 months ago...look how little they look!) Today we walked the trails at Lake Sawyer looking for baby jaguars! On our less than perfect camping trip a couple weeks I discovered the kids love doing this. I reached out to some friends for recommendations on easy trails because Ms. Independent will not let me carry her...hell she barely lets me help. So we woke up, packed a lunch and the back pack and headed out. We all had a blast! We will definitely be headed back there and many more places! I of course didn't bring my camera so these are all cell phone pics but I think you can still get the idea of how much fun they had!

Summer Camp

Connor had his first day of preschool "summer camp". Really it is just a couple of hours and it only last M-F. He is in the "All about Safari" class. He didn't seem to have any issues with me dropping him off and leaving. Sydney and I were a little lost without him though. His first day went pretty well but there where a few hiccups according to his teacher. I hope tomorrow is better for him & that he will have the class routine down by time September comes along. Can't believe how fast my little man is growing up!!
