Happy Father's Day

Sadly I didn't get many pictures but we had a great Father's Day. We spent the Saturday before at Papa & Rara's house were we ate and drank! A favorite pastime of the Fontenot's and Haywards! Sunday we had a low key day at home and Sid grilled up steaks. Yum! Nobody grills up a steak as good as Sid!

7 months

Wow! Really? How did Sid get to be seven months already?! However it happened I'm loving it! Seven months really has been the turn around month for us because Sydney has started sleeping through the night and in her own bed! Wooofreakinghoooo! She goes to bed at 7:30 and will usually sleep 12 hours...we have had a few nights where she woke up early but even that is much better than multiple times a night. We are still having fun with solids and about the only thing I will actually spoon feed her is some oatmeal and yogurt although she does try just grab handfuls herself. Syd's also been a babbling fool lately and as much as I tried to get her to say Mama she said Dada...it's just not fair!

Ever since we kicked the binky (before 2 too woohoo!) whenever we tell Connor it's time for bed he grabs a toy before taking off for the stairs. When I went to check on him before I went to be this is what I found! haha

Happy 2nd Birthday Connor!

Wow I can't believe my little boy is two already. Where has the time gone? The love and joy that Connor brings to me and Sid can not even be put into words. We love you monkey!

Cougar Mountain Zoo

We got up and got going right away this morning and decided to head to Issaquah to the Cougar Mountain Zoo. Issaquah is only about 35min away from our place but I felt like was on vacation...I just might say I love Issaquah! After a great day at the zoo we found this little bbq place...which is probably the best bbq you will find out here (besides Sids and I could teach them a thing or two about their sides). I made a note of things I wanted to do next time we go...farmers market, butchers shop and cupcake shop! I might save the cupcake trip for when Sid is not with me!
