The sun was shinning!

Today are rare thing happened...the sun came out. I knew that Sid had to go look at a park that he would be bidding the upcoming week so decided to kill two birds with one stone and packed up the kids and the wagon and off to Tacoma we went. The park had two play structures and Connor really wanted to go to the big one but I kept dragging him back to the little one. He really does LOVE to be outside and play. Sydney we perfectly content being bundled up in her car seat.

Connor was obsessed with watching a kid on a little scooter thing he didn't want to turn away and miss anything! After the park we went to lunch at Chevy's and finally got a chance to use our groupon. Score! It really was a great day!

Wow 4 months already!

I can hardly believe that Syd is 4 months already...where did the time go? Wouldn't you know it now that she's sleeping through the night I find myself thinking what if we did have a third one...lol But I'm looking to get my sanity back so we will stop at two! Besides poor Syd has got the short end of the stick as far as things I do for her vs what I did for Connor so I have to step it up for her first.

So my little sweet pea is more of a string bean...she weighed in at only 12lbs and 25in long. Tell ya what I wouldn't mind having her figure! :p

Someone is a big kid now!

Connor has moved up in the world...he is officially in a toddler bed! On Saturday me and Sid decided to just go for it! I was scared how he was going to react when we put him to bed so on the advice of a friend I skipped nap and made sure he was good and tired before bed time. We did our normal bed time routine and then he climbed in got his Binky and monkey then I said goodnight and shut out the light. He didn't move or cry he just went to sleep...he'd been asleep for a bit when he lost his binky and started crying but he never got out of bed. Sid went up and gave it to him and he went back to bed. The next morning I woke up first and was watching Connor on the monitor and saw him wake up and it took him about a half hour to realize he could get down. He got out of bed and came pitter-pattering down the hall to our room...It just melted my heart. I didn't get any pictures of him that night but I took a few when he went down for his nap on Sunday.

 

If I had known it was going to be this easy...I would of done this a few months ago! Hopefully the "lose the binky" attempt goes just as well!!

Got to get a taste of my hands...
